Scholarship Program

1. Students Criteria of Scholarship

It is offered to the students who apply to study Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Jiamusi University.

1.1 Scholarship for Bachelor’s Degree: Applicants under the age of 25 must have High School Degree with excellent grades.

1.2 Scholarship for Master’s Degree: Applicants under the age of 35 must have Bachelor’s Degree.

1.3 Scholarship for Doctoral Degree: Applicants under the age of 40 must have Master’s Degree with excellent grades. (The applicants cannot be studying in China while applying.)

2. The Documents to be submitted for Scholarships:

1) “Application Form for the Chinese government Scholarships”

This form is available for download on the official website of China Scholarship Council.（https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/） Agency No: 10222  

“Application Form for the Heilongjiang Provincial Government Scholarships”

This from is uniformly issued by the university. Application form should be completed either in English or Chinese.

1.  The notarized highest academic certificate obtained must be in English or Chinese. If the applicant is a student, the certificate from the school is needed along with the English or Chinese translation script.

   3)  Study or Research Plan in China.

   4)  Two recommendation letters from professor or associate professor(This material is not required to apply for undergraduate study).

   5) “Foreigner Physical Examination Record” filled in English.

   6）Passport copy.

   3. The Content of Scholarships

   3.1 Chinese Government Scholarship includes the fees of registration, tuition, lodging, experiment, practical training, living expenses and comprehensive medical insurance.

   3.2 Heilongjiang Provincial Government Scholarship includes the fees of registration, tuition, experiment, practical training, basic teaching materials, lodging and medical insurance. (Traveling cost and living expenses are not included.)

   Self-supporting Students Program

   1. Recruiting Students Criteria

   1） Study for Bachelor’s Degree: Applicants generally under the age of 25 must have High School Degree with excellent grades.

   2） Study for Master’s Degree: Applicants under the age of 35 must have Bachelor’s Degree with excellent grades.

   3） Study for Doctoral Degree: Applicants under the age of 45 must have Master’s Degree with excellent grades.

   4） General scholars and short-term training students.

   Note：For those under the age of eighteen and whose parents are not living in China, their parents must entrust a foreign resident in China or a Chinese resident as the guardian and provide certain written certificate.

2. Documents needed.

   1)  “Application Form for International Students” This from is uniformly issued by the university. Application form should be completed either in English or Chinese.

   4) Applicants are required to submit recommendation letters written in Chinese or English by two professors or associate professors(not required for undergraduate applications).

Long term Students:

International students dormitory:

12000RMB/per year/per room (single room or one room for 2-3 persons)

Short term Students:

International students dormitory: 1500RMB/per month/per room

International conference center: 100RMB/day/per room

Note: Upon one-time payment for an academic year, lodging fees charge is for 10 months only.

4）Insurance

800RMB/year，400RMB/semester

1. Fees for resident permit, learning materials etc will be paid according to the actual cost.
