Invited by Patton Welding Institute of Ukraine National Academy of Sciences, The delegation led by Our School Party Secretary Hongbin Qiu made a friendly visit to it from June 10th to 12th.


During the visit, Secretary Qiu had a cordial and friendly discussion with the relevant persons in charge of the Patton Welding Institute of Ukraine National Academy of Sciences and exchanged views on scientific research cooperation, teaching exchange, and technology introduction. The two sides discussed the welding project of living tissue in depth. The project leader of the Patton Welding Institute explained the welding technology of living tissue, the usages、principles、properties、scope of related equipment in detail.The two sides had a candid exchange of views on their intention of cooperation. After the talks, the two sides signed the cooperative framework agreement between Jiamusi University and Patton Welding Institute of Ukraine National Academy of Sciences.

During the period, the delegation visited the First Affiliated Hospital of the Kiev National Medical University in Ukraine, and watched the operation of living tissue welding of laparoscopic cholecystectomy. After the operation, the surgeon explained the usage of related equipment 、principles、procedures of living tissue welding in detail. The two sides had an in-depth communication.

Patton Welding Institute of Ukraine National Academy of Sciences which has a long history of more than 80 years is one of the most prestigious welding research institutes in the world. It has strong research capability and achievement transformation capability on the welding of living tissue.

The visit further promoted the academic exchanges and scientific research cooperation between the two sides on the welding of living tissue. The related leaders of the Affiliated First Hospital accompanied the delegation.
