At the invitation of Centennial college and the hospital for sick children, a delegation from our university consisting of Guo yanwen, director of international exchange and cooperation department,Jiang zhimei, dean of rehabilitation medical college, and Mei mei, deputy director of pediatrics of the first affiliated hospital visited the school and hospital from March 25 to 29.
During visiting, our delegation paid great attention to the discussion of exchange and cooperation with a dozen of related experts and scholars of the hospital for sick children. On the basis of friendly consultation, the two sides have decided to carry out international academic exchanges and medical training cooperation projects through mutual visits of teachers and students.
The hospital for sick children will accept the teachers and students recommended by our university to receive high-level clinical medical study and training in the hospital. Our university will also provide more opportunities for teachers and students for their further study through the tripartite cooperation project with the Centennial college and the hospital for sick children. At the same time, through this cooperation platform, more internationally renowned pediatric and rehabilitation medical experts will be invited to our university for lectures, training and other activities.
This visit is of great significance for further promoting the development of pediatric cerebral palsy rehabilitation in China and enabling children with cerebral palsy to obtain high-quality rehabilitation treatment and services.
